  28. I am not sure, but a first "best guess" would be to ask "Are both
  29. devices the same class and type of modems?", or is the recieveing
  30. modem compatible, such as is the receiving fax machine compatible with
  31. the send fax modem (Class 1, Class 2, or CAS ?)
